The Sunflower Poetry Society of Kansas is a diverse and all-inclusive group dedicated to the promotion of poetry, furtherance of poetic education, community building, mutual mentorship, encouraging creative freedom and poetic expression in a supportive environment that embraces poets and poetry aficionados of all skill levels in both written and performance forms. The focus of this group is poetry, inclusivity and development. BIPOC, LGBTQQIA2SAA and other poets from underrepresented groups are welcomed and encouraged to join us in creating a safe space for marginalized voices. We welcome and encourage membership from poets abroad and poets residing in other states.
